Dear Joey & Phoebe, ⁣

One of you is a handsome hunk while the other is a savage girl. In spite of all the judgments passed by people, you never forgot to live the life to the fullest. One, madly in love with the food and the other, madly in love with her guitar. ⁣

You both were the weirdest ones in the group and maybe that’s the reason you cared about each other so much. Both artists, lost in their own world. ⁣

Phoebe, the moment you came to Central perk dressing like Ursula to talk to Joey is unforgettable. He, with the heart of a baby didn’t recognize you but still chose friendship over love. The way in which you hugged Joey, (pressing something against him) is quite funny and memorable. We still remember you teaching him how to play guitar with your unique life examples. When he was really sad about Rachel, you helped him by offering the ‘World’s happiest dog’ (which afterwards became the saddest one).⁣

Joey, we miss both of you playing chess and not giving a damn about the rules and anyway, it’s much cooler than everyone else does. The care in your eyes when you offered Phoebe a ring after you knew about her pregnancy can’t be described in words and that cute dumbo happily took the ring without even thinking for a second.⁣ We still laugh hard watching Phoebe’s ‘French speaking classes’ and Joey’s ‘not so French’ words. ⁣

We felt somewhat sad when Phoebe got married to Mike. It’s not that he was not a good guy, he was but somewhere deep inside, we wanted you and Joey to be together but then it’d have become pretty obvious, right ?⁣

You both shared an eternal bond which is the purest one. You added the flavour what we Indians call ‘tadka’ to the friendship. We’re gonna tell our kids that a boy and a girl can remain best friends for the whole life while showing them your best moments in our old laptops. Ken Adams and Regina Phalange, you will always be there in our hearts, eating and singing respectively cause Joey doesn’t share food and Phoebe can never let a day go by, without humming about the Smelly Cat.
